Yesterday, March 5, 2026, we reached a milestone we have been looking forward to for quite a while: the brewery equipment arrived for our Peacock location. It is a major step toward bringing South of Shaw at Peacock Market to fruition.
Our architect and electrical engineer were on site at the same time to finish a few final details on the plans. The next step is filing those plans with the appropriate departments so the remaining work can move forward.
Why the Equipment Arrived Early
You might be wondering why all of the brewery tanks showed up this early in the process. The answer is that this system is completely customized for us. The tank sizes and overall configuration were designed specifically for our space, and manufacturing a custom system takes about nine months. We actually started this process last summer so everything would be ready when we reached this stage.
For now, the equipment will stay wrapped until the plans are approved. Once that happens, we will move everything into place and begin testing the system.
What the New Space Will Feel Like
Like our Broadway location, the brewhouse will be a centerpiece of the pub. Guests will be able to watch us make beer while relaxing with a pint and enjoying some delicious Neapolitan pizza!
